Wishing every friend here a little surprise of joy today. With all that’s happening, and with new reports everyday of something that seems worse than the last, I can feel that hearts are heavy. But after reading Nancy’s post yesterday, I do feel a resolve to maintain optimism and find even the smallest joy.
Reading the comments and posts and seeing how everyone is responding to uncomfortable, uncertain, and unexpected events, has been uplifting. There is so much kindness and thoughtfulness and support here.
There is hope for brighter days when you can see that goodness exists. And goodness does indeed exist here.
Katherine you are so right. Thank you for your post and positive comments. Our future is going to be filled with the need to build bridges so we can find some common ground with those who disagree with us. That will be so much easier if we can enter that process with a hopeful heart.
This group has been my ray of sunshine and I hope I can somehow add to the brightness and hopefulness within the group.

One person making one post inspires another person to make a comment and a post, and then other people want to join the conversation, and then, before you realize it, you have many people sharing thoughts and showing support and a thriving community of friends.
I have always been more on the quiet side of conversations. I listen much, much more than I speak, always. But here I am trying to comment and post and contribute because I would love to see this community come together and thrive once again.
