Dog tax payment post. Here sits Dottie. She's an anxious little girl who refused to poop for three whole days when we first brought her home. We were worried sick and all checks on her health showed her to be normal and healthy. Eventually, she relaxed enough and lightened up, both in weight and attitude, after the third day home. Since then, she has made her presence known in the hood with an impressive attitude that has flourished from her tiny 10 pound body. She loves to visit off-leash dog parks, where she sits on the perimeter and watches the other dogs closely. Whenever she find it necessary, she will step in between the dogs and make sure all fun stops, her self-designated role at the park being the leader of the Fun Police. She takes her duty very seriously and has no qualms about letting other dogs know that they are having much too much fun by running up to them, giving them one sharp bark of disapproval before rushing back to my lap at the edge of the park.

What a cutie. Small pups certainly have what it takes to be police dogs if it wasn’t for their size, so I guess Fun Police will have to do. 😀
