Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends! What will your holiday look like this year?
Our Canadian Thanksgiving was in October and this year was a very quiet one for me. I almost forgot the date! In past years, it was all day cooking with the biggest turkey I could find, all the sides and turkey leftovers for everyone days. And some years, it is was a trip to the market for even more turkey from big sales after the holiday, more roasting, and then freezing for meals for everyone to enjoy in the future. Prepping, cooking and carving and packaging for weeks! I always make big batches of meals for family members who sometimes need help.
I wish you all a very happy, healthy, and safe holiday with your family & friends.
Another quiet Thanksgiving here with plenty of time to read, including posts here, and be thankful for everyone on Book Club Friends!
Our Thanksgiving will be spent with one of our daughters and her family. Family time with them is usually punctuated with games and lots of laughter. This year I am particularly thankful for my new friends on Book Club Friends. Hugs to all!!
Absolutely with you on Book Club Friends! That sounds like a wonderful day.
Yes! Happy Thanksgiving to our most favourite Americans! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday with extra big laughs for Libby and very relaxing, peaceful calm for Jane to enjoy reading. Sending warm hugs to everyone here.
For me, it is a small bacon wrapped turkey breast cooked in a new air fryer. All the sides are in the toaster oven warming. I will also spend time reading and posting here with my new friends.
