In the category of posts about food and in a nod to Katherine Ann Mark's challenge to identify food that one can eat while still holding a book, I offer the following photo of something one absolutely cannot eat and hold anything else, much less a book. Having said that, it was an amazing dish.

That looks very good! I think you are going to inspire some food-focussed travel adventures. I know that I am interested!! And I agree, I would hide all my books in the next room before starting this meal!
Is this why all the library books I borrow always have brown and other coloured smudges?
Possibly! At least a previous borrower made an unwise decision about what can be safely eaten while reading!
What is this dish called Jane? I’m happy to see you enjoying some fresh seafood! 🙂
This is called Mr. B’s Barbeque shrimp. Mr. B’s Bistro is where I ate it. Despite the color of the sauce, it is not barbeque sauce. It is black pepper, butter and Worcestershire sauce. I suspect that nutty brown color comes from very slowly heating the butter, probably the same skill set required to make a good roux.
Thank you! Sound delicious and something I’d order too
