mei lan suggested I start a cruising tax. Let me introduce you to Kindred Spirit, my means of transportation for thousands of liquid miles. She is named as a nod to one of my favorite books, Anne of Green Gables. Also, Kindred Spirit describes how I feel about the marine environment. For many years my husband and I traveled on Lake Michigan, The North Channel and Georgian Bay in Canada, and then down the rivers from Chicago to explore the salty waters of Florida. Maybe this winter, when I am in Florida where my journals are, and as we wait for the release of The Black Wolf, I can regale you with some of our boating adventures. In the meantime how do others travel and where do your adventures take you?

  1. I love the name! How perfect. And the nod to Anne of Green Gables, one of my favourites too. I haven’t travelled in quite some time, but I will have to see if I can dig something up from my younger years. I look forward to hearing more about your adventures!!!

    1. Thank you Jane. She’s provided us with a most interesting way to see parts of Canada and the US. Traveling on the waterways gives one insights to parts of the country that we would never get traveling by car, train, or air. More to come I promise!
