Sounds like the basement of the Hadley House to me!!!
Ha! Argh! Yes!! No offense to spiders, who are mostly useful creatures from what I’ve read, but I do not have a good working relationship with them, and don’t want to get close enough to them to inhale their scent. And yet, that description that LP used definitely gave me a strong impression– a sense, of dim, dank, mildewy basement or cave, with cobwebs! Not my idea of fun….
Yes, exactly Libby, the Hadley House! I’m with you, Susan, I try to get as far away from them as possible. With eight legs, spiders are mostly armpits so it makes sense that they may not smell very fresh!
Oh my I love the “armpits” reference. That will make me laugh all day. Thanks Katherine!!!
Any spider here does not last long with my two furballs. Thank heavens!
