Example of why I do not put cat toys with catnip under the tree until the last minute.

There used to be a catnip called Kitty Hoots. I couldn’t even get it in the house without my cats smelling it. I suspect Tatiana is like Bella in that she checks out anything new and/or different in the house. They certainly keep us on our toes.
I remember Kitty Hoots! Good stuff, apparently, if you’re into that sort of “weed” (and my reprobate kitties were)!
I have looked everywhere for it and can’t find anything quite as effective as Kitty Hoots was. I used to keep it in the car and dole the toys out a little at a time. There was no way I could sneak it into the house.
Kitty Hoots used to make some favorite catnip toys, too! My kitties always enjoyed those. In a sad further commentary regarding my lack of culinary skills, I must confess that the best place I’ve found to hide potent catnip containers is in my oven! It’s not like I use it for actual cooking, anyway….
I wish we had a laugh out loud button here. I relate with the oven issue so well!!
Lol Susan!! I also agree with you about the laugh out loud button, Libby!
I would welcome a LOL button for the cat tax and a “Groan” button for the puns. Having said that, if there was just a button, I worry it would discourage more extensive actual comments.
Smart girl, Tati! I enjoy the witty comments under the posts, so I agree with you about other buttons, Jane!
