I hope this can be read. It is a monument to the last battle of the Seven Years War (between French and English) on Signal Hill on September 13, 1762.

I know so little about this period of history, but I do know that this battle decided the fate of whether North America would be French or British! Good background to know. And it’s interesting to think that some of those French combatants likely settled in what is now Quebec!
