A clever post for St. Charles County Libraries which is the neighboring county to me in Missouri. We have a major storm going on now which started Saturday night with snow, sleet and farther south in MO, freezing rain.
My feral cats are all in their beds in the garage. When it drops to single digits tonight, I will turn on two space heaters which keeps the area at about 32 degrees.

  1. I love how you care for the feral fur babies in your neighborhood. We used to do that when we were still doing up North winters. They are so lucky to have you watching out for them yet allowing them to be themselves.
Stay safe and warm during the storm. I hope it’s over quickly and life returns to normal without incident.

  2. Keep safe Nancy, I hope the storm will pass without any damage. Often, we lose power here during our big storms, but I hope you will be able to stay warm and keep all of your utilities functioning.

  3. It sounds like you are weathering the storm like a pro, Nancy. Glad to hear there were no power outages and you’re getting help with clearing that snow. Plus the cats are sheltered and you’ve got the necessities (chocolate and books) ready. Hope you stay cozy too.
