Absolutely love this. Thank you for sharing it with us. Hope you have a fantastic day.
Thanks Libby! Hope yours is lovely too
Thank you, Jane.
I love that sentiment. Very relatable! Thanks for sharing that, and your goal. As my dad used to say, “Every good day is one less bad one,” and I know that at least part of my day will be good in the company of the wonderful people like you here on this site.
I completely agree with you Susan. Wonderful company, just as Nancy also said. I think the goal has been reached, in my opinion. Now, I wonder, would goalposts ever move to do more good for more people beyond our lovely group here? I could see this as a Goodreads/FB mashup. Anyone else?
I’m not sure I understand what you mean by a Goodreads/FB mashup.
I’m thinking something in between Goodreads and FB. More social than Goodreads, because of the main feed with all our posts with any type of content, but then the rest of this site is more like Goodreads, solely focused on books. I’ve not spent that much time on Goodreads, to be fair, so I’m not sure what else it offers. Reviews/ratings, following friends a little author page. I’m not sure if there are discussion forums there to actually have book chats though.
Thanks. I don’t really use Goodreads either. If I am interested in a book, I usually read newspaper reviews of the book.
