A little note about communication, with reference to my first post here with cat tax and understanding cats. Here is a note between two people with a similar barrier to communicate clearly and easily. Imagine receiving this note from someone, what would you think?
Here is the story behind the note:
An international student, who could not speak Chinese, was hospitalized in China and under the care of a nurse who didn’t speak English. Determined to communicate important medical instructions, the nurse crafted this lovely note, hoping that the student would understand that surgery was scheduled the next day and that eating or drinking was not allowed after 10 p.m. This demonstrates the effort that nurses exert to provide proper care for patients and ensure "clear" understanding critical pre-surgery instructions!
No eating or drinking for tomorrow, you die!!!
Lol!
Well, you can count on a nurse to figure out how to get an important message across! Here’s to all nurses.
