Look what showed up in the mail late yesterday afternoon. Thank you Tara and BCF. Sorry that it is a little out of focus. And I will let you know when I have read it and am ready to comment on it. And even though you said the chocolate looked like it was from Chez Mama, it was very good and is already gone. I take it that the streaks were to simulate the fur on the grey wolf. At least, the broken off piece looked like an ear. I "wolfed" it down.

    1. I’m on Chapter 4 and already have two theories, although I can guess that they’ll both be wrong by the end. I’ll join in on your chats too! Right now, as I’m reading this, I wonder what your theories are as you progress through the book. It’d be fun to see how our ideas change with each chapter and every little hint or red herring that gets nonchalantly written!

  1. We can’t wait to hear what you both think of the book, Nancy and Libby!! We’ll post some discussion questions in the forum as soon as we get a chance, so that will be another way we can all discuss it together, informally!

We’re pleased the package arrived and that you enjoyed the chocolate! Yes, the streaks are supposed to be part of the wolf. It’s a shame the chocolate broke in the mail, but the book looks like it survived the journey without any damage, which is the most important item in the package! Here are a few images and videos from Chez Mama’s kitchen making the chocolate wolves:

*Edit to add that we couldn’t manage to embed the videos here, so we made a new post to show them there. here’s the link.
