Today I picked up Maria Ressa's book, "How To Stand Up To A Dictator". She says that a key component to the fight against dictatorship is hope. That hope inside each of us is what will lead to change.

Just about to finish The Searcher for our discussion next week. I’m not sure what will be next. Have company coming two weeks in a row so probably a break for now.
I put a hold for this book on my Libby app. I did read The Searcher for our discussion, but now I wonder if I’ll need to read it again. It already feels like it was months instead of weeks ago that I’d read it with everything that’s happening.
I took a lot of notes while reading it. My memory for details is terrible, always has been. Hope I can remember enough to participate in the discussion. I certainly loved the book.
The Searcher is next on my list, but now that I’ve started Maria Ressa’s book, I can’t put it down. I’m not a particularly fast reader but I hope I’ll be able to join your discussions!
I just finished reading Beautiful Ugly and will be posting about it soon.
I just read that one last week. Meet us in the forums; can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
