A little friendly warning from a flightless Canadian. Beware the winged ones.

Very familiar with these honkers in my neck of OH! I love hearing them fly in formation overhead. Sometimes you can hear the whisper of their wings as they pass by in the evenings. Pretty awesome. Some people are not thrilled with their bathroom habits near some of our ponds and lakes, though. They do indeed produce a lot of landmines! And they can be feisty if they think you’re messing with them, for sure.
That honk as they fly in v-formation overhead will always draw my attention upward. I see them here in Missouri; there are several ponds in the area.
