I’m pretty sure we’ll find out what Shona Dorion finds in her investigation into selling resources to the U.S. I think we’ll see General Whitehead again and maybe some other characters from State of Terror. I also don’t think we’re done with the Parisi family and the Vatican. I picture Gamache heading to Italy to investigate further. I also think there may be a threat to Gamache’s family or possibly Reine-Marie given that the Black Wolf knows about Three Pines.
