Our northern Ontario M.P. Charlie Angus. is in Brussels today for the NATO parliamentary meetings. Everybody is trying to cope with the shock waves sent by Vance’s horrible speech in Munich and the general Trump-Putin collusion.
In his substack post “On Yeats, Trump and Putin” Charlie quotes from Yeats’ The Second Coming, including the lines well known to us: “And what rough beast, its hour come round at last, Slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?”
