Activism is a form of caregiving— it’s an activity engaged in caring for and about others, and a caregiver who neglects to take care of themselves cannot fully take care of others to the best of their ability. Balance is needed, and it’s a wise person who knows when to take a moment and heal themselves. I’m glad you’re feeling better!
