Is this a series where it is best to read from the beginning? Your description makes it sound like something I would enjoy.
The Searcher and The Hunter are a series of two with The Searcher being the first book. I would strongly advise you read those in order. I have read a couple of the other books out of sequence and did not find it particularly problematic. I think you would love her writing.
Yes Jane, as everyone has recommended, start with this book first. I’ve got my place in the hold waitlist for “The Hunter” at the library now!
I think reading the Searcher first is a must with this series. Her writing is excellent. She evokes places and interior lives of her characters wonderfully.
I agree with Libby and Glenda in that I think Tana French is an excellent writer. I loved The Searcher and haven’t had a chance to read The Hunter yet. The Searcher could be a great Book of the Month book to discuss.
Thanks, Everyone!
