My mother was an avid mystery reader. Her favourite authors were Dick Francis, Josephine Tey and of course, Agatha Christie. She had a drawer of maps, mostly of London, and she liked to follow the story locations on the maps.
I knew she attempted to write a mystery novel in the 1960s or 1970s. I remember her pounding it out on an old 1930s Underwood typewriter. I found the manuscript! The book is unfinished. I’m doing my first read-through and considering working with my sisters to complete the book.
That would be an amazing project to take on with your sisters!
On a separate note, did you know that we have a Home page feed that’s more similar to the FB feed? You’re very welcome to continue to post here, there’s no problem with that, but you may get higher visibility on the Home page. Take a peek at this vid: https://www.bookclubfriends.com/faq/#howtopost
