With his compelling plots and knowledge of police procedure, Michael Connelly’s crime novels feature gritty realism, suspenseful plots, and multi-layered characters. Many of his main characters appear together in books creating a rich tapestry among the multiple series. Harry Bosch and Mickey Haller may be flawed protagonists, but they are relatable and engaging.
