In each novel, he tackles an intriguing legal case that often leads him into trouble.

Set in the same universe as Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch series, Mickey Haller appears in several Harry Bosch novels: Nine Dragons, The Crossing, The Wrong Side of Goodbye, Two Kinds of Truth, and The Night Fire, and a very brief part in Desert Star.

As with MIchael Connelly’s other books, the novels can be read as stand-alone stories. But to follow Haller’s growth as a character and the continuity in the series, fans recommend reading the books in order.
