The Provencal Mysteries is a charming traditional mystery series following Antoine Verlaque as he investigates crimes in southern France.

Antoine Verlaque is an Investigating Judge in Aix-en-Provence whose romantic partner, Marine Bonnet, a criminal psychology professor, helps him solve mysteries. In addition to the main protagonists, the books are filled with delightful supporting characters that readers enjoy getting to know.

Readers love being transported to Provence, where M. L. Longworth beautifully evokes the culture, food, wine, and ambiance of the region. Each book in the Provencal Mysteries has a standalone story, but to fully enjoy the romance between Antoine and Marine and the interesting relationships between the other characters, we recommend reading the books in order.
