I couldn’t agree more. I often use how people respond to animals as a predictor of who that person really is. We can learn so much from animals if we just take the time to watch them – to connect to them. Louise does such a wonderful job of infusing animals into her stories. I find it not only endearing but for me it makes the stories so much more realistic.

Yes I agree with you completely, Libby. People who are kind to animals are my kind of people. People who love their fur babies and “spoil” them, well, we can be best friends. And yes, animals are so intelligent, and they can communicate with us in many different ways, if we watch, listen and learn. I’m so happy to learn that so many friends here have or have had cats and dogs in their families.
