Life is a garden, not a road. We enter and exit through the same gate. Wandering, where we go matters less than what we notice.
~Kurt Vonnegut

I just found this quote; I'd never read it before. It's interesting to think of life as a garden, the destination in life less important than noticing our surroundings while we're here. I'm curious to know what others here think about this?

  1. I love this thought. We get so busy raising children, working, keeping up with daily routines, making a so called life. The whole time we miss watching our children make sense of their world in the tiny ways, the beauty of a sunset, all the glories of nature, how animals communicate, and so on and so on. It’s always the journey that is so important not the destination.
    Thank you for sharing this.
